The Disclaimer

What this is — and is not.

"AI is an aid, never a replacement for Scripture, prayer, or pastoral guidance. Doctrinal correction welcomed from any historic Christian tradition." The standing CrossAIHub disclaimer

What AI is for, here

The tools published on this site are produced with the help of artificial intelligence — at present, large language models trained on enormous bodies of text. Used carefully, those tools can:

  • Surface cross-references in Scripture quickly.
  • Translate phrases between English and the biblical languages.
  • Summarize centuries of commentary so a busy parent can find the relevant question.
  • Draft a clear paragraph that we then revise by hand.
  • Help format a family-prayer page so it fits on one sheet.

What AI is not for, here

AI does not, here, stand in for:

  • Scripture. The Bible is the text. Everything we publish points back to it and is checked against it.
  • Prayer. A generated prayer is not a prayer. The prayers we use are drawn from the historic prayer-books of the church, by people who were praying.
  • Pastoral guidance. A chatbot cannot baptize, marry, bury, confess, or absolve. If you are walking through something hard, please call your pastor, your priest, or a trusted Christian friend before you ask any model.
  • The Creed. Two thousand years of confession is not negotiated by a model that has read it.

How we use AI

Every CrossAIHub artifact is drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed by hand. The reviewer checks:

  • Scripture references — that quotations match the cited verses and that the cited verses say what the page claims.
  • The Creed — that nothing in the published text contradicts the Apostles' or Nicene Creed.
  • The historic traditions — that the language is universal-Christian rather than denomination-only.
  • The tone — that the voice is calm, not marketing.

If a page ever falls short on one of those, please tell us. Doctrinal correction is welcomed from any historic Christian tradition.

What CrossAIHub will not do

  • We will not run analytics or tracking pixels on you.
  • We will not sell or share your email with anyone.
  • We will not use curiosity-gap headlines or income claims to gather attention.
  • We will not impose denominational verdicts on contested questions.
  • We will not pretend that AI understands the human heart. It does not.

A word about errors

AI models hallucinate — that is, they sometimes generate confident text that is simply wrong. We have systems to catch this, and they are not perfect. If you spot an error, please write to us. We will correct it openly, name what went wrong, and keep going.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24

The Rock is Christ. The Scripture is the witness. The Creed is the summary. We are a footnote. Take the footnote for what it is, and keep the rest.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
